lockdown cooking

I think like most people, the days in lockdown are centred around breakfast, lunch and dinner. And I've been cooking quite a bit with my mom. I've also been looking through old cookbooks and I've become fascinated with the 90s style of photographing food. the current trend is very clinical, aerial shot with arranged spices and herbs surrounding a bowl of food. but back then there seemed like a lot more love in the pics, maybe I'm just romanticising the time. but you can feel the love a lot more.

I tried to mimic that same approach with the dinner we had that night.
