DIY papermaking

so to make my at home screen i bought a pan splash sieve and cut it to fit the photo-frame and I got a mesh type fabric for the other. teared up documents, blitz it and mixed it with mediums. when pulling paper through the screen i would squish it against the other frame to compress any water. however my frame soon started to fall apart, like all my DIY attempts. I'm starting to think I'm really bad at this. So I'll just wait to use the paper making facilities at uni.

however I did get some good pulls, and I'm getting more familiar with the way the existing ink is impacting the paper. And looking at the freckled quality in how it will function with an image.
