struggles within my research

An unexpected hurdle they faced within my research is the lack of critical art society or established art practices with in the South African context. To really put into perspective of South Africans colonial and post a apartheid history you have to consider the fact that it is only been 25 years since the end of appetite. From an art basil interview art critic and Writer are Valerie Kabow States the question people ask why are you operating in a place that has no Running galleries system, that doesn’t have proper art schools, and does not have a collector base with in South Africa and the answer is that the artists are there. This again elaborated on the fact that South Africa is a country that in every aspect is trying to reclaim and establish it’ running gallery system, that doesn’t have proper art schools, and does not have a collector base with in South Africa and the answer is that the artists are there. This again elaborated on the fact that South Africa is a country that in every aspect is trying to reclaim and establish African history that has been systematically erased Wyles also navigating it’s it’s so called freedom. And that is not exclusive to society and culture but also the art context.

I am finding that to arguments are constantly at play which is the discussion surrounding the lack of critical art thinking with in South Africa and establishments that are running those types of thinking yet also there is just as valid as a discussion of that the focus should be shifting towards creating that because I am finding that two arguments are constantly A-Play which is the discussion surrounding the lack of critical art thinking with in South Africa and establishments that are running those types of thinking yet also there is just as valid as a discussion of that the focus should be on the fact that because of how young the art society is with in South Africa it should be utilised in a way that is not perpetuating Eurocentric art and that and its fundamentals should what is what should be focused on in the current con

Because of this in many ways South Africa is in a very unique position, it has a very gang answer society that is not yet established in the global context in many western nice countries that have been colonised such as northern and southern America New Zealand Australia India and so forth are battling with decolonise decolonisation with in the context. Navigating and trying to employ a way of thinking that respects and allows those of the native people to be welcomed and to feel respected within the context. I feel as though that this is this turmoil that is occurring with in South Africa is definitely reflected in the country at South and it’s constant polarisation and blatant racism on both ends. Throughout my investigation I am yet to find an artist and this is probably because I need to research a lot more or a community with in the South African context that is challenging the notions of bicultural diets flora within South Africa be. The notion surrounding being coloured and what that in tales with in the new Free South Africa seems to be lost amongst the mania that the country is going in trying to navigate its freedom.

Due to this lack of art to space community is with in South Africa artists that do get established traditionally through a standard bag at Price and make it out of South Africa are then able to elevate the practice significantly artist KWL studied a visual arts course in Chicago equipping himself with a theory based and practiced based skill set that is difficult to find within South Africa
